Weill Side of Louisiana Politics, The: Gus Weill Remembers
Gus Weill, who hosted LPB's interview series Louisiana Legends for 19 years, served as former Governor John McKeithen's executive secretary and was the official biographer for former Governor Jimmie Davis. He was also the mentor for famed political consultant and best-selling author James Carville, who writes the foreword. The Weill Agency, his consulting and public relations firm, handled more than 350 political campaigns since 1958.
